Who I Am

Personal Testimonial

Carmen shared with me her story and her past with eating disorders and self-loathing and I saw this woman that was so confident sitting in front of me telling me that she was exactly where I was and now she loves herself even 18 kilos more (after the birth of her first child it took her a while to lose the weight) I was intrigued

They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger; so let me tell you, after everything that  I have been through I am now very strong.  So strong that I changed my life around from top to bottom or maybe better said from bottom to top.  A destructive relationship with myself turned into a true love story, bad intimate relationships transformed into a magical, healthy, happy loving relationship of friendship that has turned into a family filled with love and support.  Running around between three jobs has transformed into a career that I love.  From a life filled with dissatisfaction to one of true satisfaction, enjoyment, and abundance.  In short and simply put (with a risk of sounding cliché) darkness has transformed to light.

Where there’s a will, there’s a way- It is possible to achieve it all, how do I know?

Because I did it myself, and I am not any different from you.

So yes, on my way out of the miserable existence I was living I realized I have a gift for understanding and diagnosing what is really happening and coming up with solutions, most especially I found I have a knack with those that other therapists have failed to help.  People started coming to me for help through word of mouth and I have had the honor of helping them, I kept succeeding and people kept coming and finding answers.  I worked for 12 years with these people and our success together paved the way for my methodology PRT or Pattern Recognition Therapy.

To best understand just how incredible my transformation has been, you really need to understand where I came from.

The shit hit the fan at age 16, the ground opened up and threatened to swallow me whole.  I thought I was dying that my life was over; that was my first panic attack.  From that moment on I would get panic attacks every time I stepped out of the house, until I just didn’t leave my bed anymore.

They say that necessity is the mother of invention, and I needed to invent a way out because every solution I tried till that point just didn’t work.  I invented a way to stop the anxiety attacks at age 16 and my eating disorders at age 17, bad relationships at around age 24 and fibromyalgia at age 32 and everything else making my life difficult.

It was after all these successes that I started helping others in a more professional setting and teaching the methods and tools I had invented and the successes were quick to come and with them my understanding that I had found my place in this world.

My success is based on a few key points; first and foremost is what worked for me; experience...is there anything better?
Furthermore, I focused on studying and understanding what others have figured out before me, like ancient philosophies and the spiritual, as well as scientific studies mostly focused on how the brain works and how we perceive our world because from my experience perception is the key.  What is most important is that it works and those that come to me make real changes in their lives.

I believe that therapy should be based on a proper diagnosis, an understanding of the fundamental systems at play, development of tools to help get over it, and doing the work.  Furthermore, I believe that a true and lasting change is one where you are not dependent on any one person; most especially not your therapist and you learn to be your own fucking guru.
